Why Is the Sky Blue?

"Why does the sky look blue during the day?"

💡 Simple Explanation

Imagine sunlight is like a box of crayons with all the colors mixed together. When sunlight comes down from space, it bumps into tiny bits of air. Blue light is like a bouncy ball - it bounces around everywhere! Red and yellow light just zoom straight through. So when you look up, you see all that bouncy blue light filling up the sky like a giant blue blanket.

🎉 Fun Fact!

On Mars, the sky looks pink because the dust in the air bounces different colors!
