Why Do We Yawn?

"Why do we open our mouths really wide sometimes?"

💡 Simple Explanation

Scientists aren't 100% sure, but yawning might be your brain's way of cooling itself down - like opening a window to let cool air in! When you're tired or bored, your brain might get a little warm. A big yawn brings in lots of cool air and stretches your face muscles to wake them up. The funniest part? Yawns are super catchy! When you see someone yawn, your brain copies them.

🎉 Fun Fact!

Even dogs, cats, and fish yawn! And you can make your dog yawn just by yawning at them.
