How Do Computers Think?
"Does a computer have a brain?"
💡 Simple Explanation
Computers don't really think like you do - they're more like really fast followers of instructions! Inside a computer are billions of tiny switches that can be on or off, like light switches. By flipping these switches super fast (billions of times per second!), computers can do math and follow rules. When you add 2+2, you think about it. A computer just follows steps someone programmed: 'If this switch is on and that switch is on, turn this other switch on.' Simple steps done super fast look like thinking!
🎉 Fun Fact!
Your brain has about 86 billion neurons - way more connections than any computer!
